LEDs - Light pollution filter still worth it?

Living in the eastern melb suburbs and been looking at getting a light pollution filter (astronomik CLS clip for canon 700D).

HOWEVER

It seems as though my court's street light was changed recently to an LED lamp (as it is much brighter and white), and I don't doubt this has happened to the surrounding area

My question is whether getting a light pollution filter will still be worth it by cancelling out the city's general light pollution, or if i'll be extending my exposure length for nothing

Narrowband isn't really an option at the moment, and I don't have many opportunities to get away :/

I'd appreciate any advice!
