I still find it hard to believe but it looks like I will be traveling to the Canaries again to observe with the "10m Dob" and mingle with worlds greatest astrophysicists (including Stephen Hawking) and astronauts and cosmonauts (full list here: www.starmus.com)!
As I said to Alex, with the talent he has, the odds of winning were stacked in his favour

You have certainly been blessed with attendance at a few magnificent locations in recent years and you have certainly taken great advantage of these oportunities, well done
The news from STARMUS a few days ago certainly delivered some very unexpected excitement. Since the first STARMUS there has not been a week when I would not think about experience at the festival - it certainly had great impact and ignited my interest in astronomy science.
I still can't fully comprehend that I will be going there again and observe with the 10.4-metre "Dob".
