Great Solar Proms - 21st August

Hi All

I managed to get some good data from a solar imaging session yesterday. A nice variety of proms on display. Taken with the Lunt 80, 3x barlow and basler ace video camera. One exposure for proms and another for surface details.

A slightly larger and less compressed version can be found on my Onedrive here: http://1drv.ms/1EKgQ8e

The other attached image is my first reasonable image from a Quark Ha eyepiece and 127mm refractor. Unfortunately the scale used is too big for the seeing conditions at the time. At present I am not sure whether the Quark will stay in my solar imaging kit as it is a difficult beast to image with. Thanks for looking.

Ted
