C/2013 US10 (Catalina) 18-08-15

Catalina is changing rapidly.

I presume the Ion tail has swung around, more in line with the dust tail???

8” F/4 astrograph , baader type 3 coma corrector,. HEQ Pro 5 mount, orion mini guider.
Camera.
Unmodded Cannon 1100D plus cooler box. 2 x 2 and 3 x2 minutes at ISO 6400. in Deep Sky Stacker .Processed in Photoshop Cs2..

Great shot.

It was nice being able to follow the comet for a week at Astrofest. I think I noticed the change to the tails on the last couple of nights.

It's great these days, so easy to follow the evolution of comets with digital imaging. Makes it easy to confirm visual changes.
