Bintel/GSO Coma Corrector

While this isn't the best coma corrector its probably the best value. Should be perfect for visual and good for AP if you don't mind slightly under corrected stars in the corners or if you intend to crop them out anyway. Definitely better than not having one at all even in an F5. Lots of room for rotators and filter wheels though with 80mm of backfocus. Slight scuffs on one side that dont seem to affect the image and are pretty much impossible to see let alone photograph, unless you get the light at just the right angle.

$80 Shipped

Specs for your convenience:

Coma Corrector designed for fast f/ratio Newtonians (between f/4 and f/5)

– 2″ barrel
– brass compression ring
– 2″ fitting unscrews allowing wide T-rings for both Canon EOS and Nikon DSLR to attach directly for astrophotography.

– Back focus is 80mm +/- 2mm from Corrector Lens to image plane.
– Spacing may be required for some DSLT and CCD depending on length of your imager.
