David,
That's a wonderful sequence! You have really brought out the active regions nicely, I wanted to get the same sequence myself. Could I ask how you went for tracking? And what software did you use to capture your AVI's? As you might be aware I have a vested interest in guiding and sequencing etc.

Well tracking is a bit of a sore point - we had it close but i forgot to lock the dec bolt - it shifted when we checked the filter was secure - with a crack!. so was hand guided after that - for the whole event. did have solar rate selected. the dmk capture software was used, manually set everything and pushed button to record

Derek I took over 400 30 second shots. i haven't processed them all yet - some will work and some wont due to wind and other movements but what i tried to do was cover the event in the Ha in 3 min increments for the video (though i took 30 second shots all thoughtout), though there were a few technical difficulties resulting when i tried to meridian flip - i had to put it back the way it was and image through to the finish - we quickly tested to see if the gear would slew through to the finish without hitting the mount - just jagged that one as well. I will redo the video again after i learn to process Ha shots better and process the backlog

thanks Damien, I have to say Mike Sidonio really made the moment as well. Great company and amazing knowledge . We shared the duties for the whole 6 hours. The visual scope he set up with my heqpro5 never missed a beat.
