It took only a few hours to mount the EAF, quite straight foward.
Then most of the day doing the research for the initial settings for SGP.
After waiting for astronomical twilight, I used Saturn for rough focus, then moved onto M30 (image attached).
It took a few hours playing until it worked properly.
But in the end, it is the sky or seeing (and your amount of patience) that dictates how well one can acheive focus.
The goal is to get the lowest HFR (Half Flux Radius) possible.
The HFR is a relative measure using pixels.
Last night was bad seeing with PHD reporting corrections of over 3 arc/s.
So tight focus was just not possible.
But it was sorta cool to watch the Auto Focus routine trying (and not succeeding) to get it better.
