Tim
Brilliant image of NGC300 with plenty of detail throughout the spiral arms
Like the colour too spot on
This galaxy is not easy to image as it’s a dim bugger and you do need a substantial amount of data to stack
Well done !

Needs more data, tonight I hope.

Interesting that out of 50 images, 12 had satellite tracks in them. It's getting crowded up there.

Starlink satellites are clogging up our night skies
It’s only going to get worse as more are deployed

I am imaging NGC300 again tonight, and the same satellite track ratio applies.

Looks like you have some star bloat. Do you use a IR cut filter or a light pollution filter with IR coating?

Tim
IMO I prefer the original image as the spirals have more definition and detail
This later one although has more brightness , appears to be a bit saturated
That’s just my observations
I tend to hold back a bit in processing the fainter galaxies
A good image of NGC300 none the less
