EQ6 pro weight bar removal

Gidday all, my apologies if this has already been asked, didn't see it! I would like to know how to remove the counter weight shaft and the section that holds the locking clutch? As most of you know who have this mount it wobbles a bit and this drives me bonkers! I would like to modify it so it stays locked. There are 3 small holes in the section that holds the bar locking lever, do these have small hex bolts in there or are they used for putting something into and unscrewing it? I understand the bar comes out through the top if the puck is removed, however i want it fixed permanently as the eq5 bar is.

Cheers Tony

If the bar wobbles it can be due to two things: slop in the bearing, and/or failure to tighten the locking grub screws.
Those three holes contain three hex headed grub screws as you guessed.they should be tight. The bottom section screws onto DEC ahaft housing and pushes the DEC bearing into its cup. If the bottom section is not tighten up enough it will allow slop in the bearing. I suggest you read one of the NEQ6 tuning guides. It sounds like it needs a tune up.
