Ate so much, I'm bursting

Eight Burst Nebula...get it...he he....

Reuploading my NGC3132 attempts to Astrobin finally. I think this was like 2 hours with the FSQ106N, SX OSC and SXP mount, 2019.

Do a Strongman Mike and hunt out all the background galaxies - something to while away those winter nights.

And in case you couldn't be bothered looking for it, a crappy crop:

Voila! A socially responsible astropic. Except it’s a little more than 1.5 metres

Oh but that's a difficult beastie. It is so tiny. One can do little more than show that it is there.

Mission completed!

There is something poetic about that pale red dot in the distance. The resolution actually stands up well with the major crop as it turns out. Thanks for sharing.

A very pleasing image Lewis - I like how it puts the size of planetary nebulae into a perspective, and it also reminded me that most of the stars (at least not the giants) will end up in a similar way. Could make an interesting time lapse.

A great lens BTW

Thanks again everyone.

I know it’s such a riveting rendition. I like my annotated version the most...lots of faint fuzzies you can barely make out as galaxies
