Matching colour for HEQ5

Does anyone know if there is a paint that matches the HEQ5 off white?

I’m hoping to touch up my weights which look lousy!

If you don't get a response, take a weight to your nearest hardware store,
and they will match it and sell you a small sample tin which you can keep
for future touch ups.

Locked down in Vic

Yes, will do, but I’m in the Vic - State of Lockdown!, so I can only “click and collect” at the hardware stores.
One day, I may be able to visit Bunnings again...

Don't feel too bad, I tried at bunnings and their colour match wasn't great for my neq6 pro, I assume it's the same colour.

They matched it to:
Base: White
EE 1
G 0.5
B 1

I got it in a half litre can of Dulux Gloss vivid white metal shield epoxy enamel. Not close enough for a touch up, might be ok if you paint the weights or something though.

You could also try an auto parts store like super cheap or Autobarn, they will mix a spray can for you for a nicer finish. They also have ready to go cans in assorted shades of white.

Hi Mark,

I asked this same question a few years ago by creating this thread: http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...d.php?t=134288

My own outcome:
Dulux Terrace White (Colour card number 9W) is a very similar shade to 'Skywatcher HEQ5pro' white. Not perfect -but very, very close.

Regards, Dean
