Seeking advice on image train

Greetings

Seeking advice on image train for

ED102 => Extension Tube?? => Flattner/Reducer?? => ASI294 MC Pro

Finally I have a moment to get stuck into a imaging and I have a few questions about the correct train for this.

Some Youtube videos show an extension tube..before the flattner/reducer.. however the gentleman in the video does not state what sort of extension tube. Can someone shed some light on this?

Good day Petra, Look at it this way A and B being extension tubes:

ED102 ... [A]... Flattener/Reducer... [B]... ASI294 MC PRO

[A] matters to bring you to focus. Length is not critical. No bearing on field correction. Any tube will do.
[B] length is critical to correct your field. So ideally something you can set.
