Try Startools
It’s dead easy and you always get a reasonable result
No levels or curves to worry about, plenty of processing examples on line plus YouTube clips to look
It’s ideal for newbies like me but also for further advanced once you learn all the modules
Cheers

+1 for Startools. You can stumble your way through and still come out with something half decent. I believe there is a free demo that lets you use full features but just can't save your work.

With the Startools demo, it is correct you can't save the result, but you can do a Shift PrtScn and copy the screen and paste it into Microsoft Paint, crop your image and save as a .jpg.
Not as good as a saved 16bit TIF but at least you get a .jpg version of your work.

Sorry for the late reply we had visitors over yesterday. The software I have are Registax, Autostackert, Pixinsight, Photoshop CS3, Gimp, SIPS. I will try startools and see if that helps me get better. Cheers and thanks for your comments.

AstroPixelProcessor will give great results for the brainless. otherwise search for PixInsight Tutorials, if you own that its the best choice but you need to be willing to learn. APP if you expect a one click solution.

If you persist with PI its hard to go past 'Inside Pixinsight' - a great read.
Online I've used https://www.lightvortexastronomy.com/tutorials.html. Found that great to get up & going

As others have said, PI is not for the faint hearted.

Forum member Louie Atalas has a great collection of tutorials on his website for post processing of astro images using Photoshop. Click on the "learn" drop down menu at the top of page.
Certainly helped me and many others (Thanks Louie! ).
