The Sun 7-Oct

Hi all,

Haven't done much solar imaging so I thought I'd give it a go. Taken with a ZWO ASI1174MM,Coronado Solarmax ii 60 etalon on an Orion ST80. 600 frames each of surface & proms, processed in Autostakkert, Registax and PS.

I've overexposed the proms layer somewhat, hence the "glow" around the perimeter, but I'll improve with experience.

Very good.
Look at Corono, it allows you to separate the proms from the disk. You can then recombine and colourise in PaintShopPro etc.
