Astrotortilla issues

Hi All

I am hoping to use Stellarium to point my scope to the right target and this works fine (no Stellarium scope as it no longer required).

But, to be certain it is actually pointed at the right spot, I also want to plate solve.

I have Astrotortilla installed and running, but, it rarely solves the image. Even when nova.astrometry.net solves it quickly and easily.

One thing I noticed is that while the co-ordinates in Stellarium and the scope agree, those in AT were very different ie RA/DEC ~18h compared to 13h).

Any pointers or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have also downloaded All Sky Plate Solver - currently trying to point it the already installed cygwin files. Any hints?

Thanks for reading.

Philip
