It will be a close call, this weather has also affected my work too so I hope things will work out so that I can make it.

Now stop tempting me with Cuban cigar posts, you know it's my weak point, not to mention the thought of your great company.

ah yes - and together with your cigar watch you will be the talk of the meet

Bought another Eveready red/white headlamp as my other one's gone walkabout.

Crikey, $36. Oh, well. Better that than blinding everyone with a white torch.

All that's left now is to get some tarpaulin's. Bunnings will be getting a visit shortly!

Regards,
Humayun

Last day at work today!

Tomorrow is prep day... Wednesday is travel day.

I wonder what I'll forget?... I guess I'll find out eventually...

Sort of a short week for me too.

I'm working from home on Wednesday so I can finish packing the trailer early, go to the bank, amongst other things.

Agh! - but you see Al, you get another 25k coming back

and it makes mathematical sense

if you go 25k in the right direction in the first place, and you have to go back, you actually travel a total 75k extra

Thumbs up Sky tours at Lostock

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Lostock.

Courtesy of the Three Rivers Foundation (3RF) there will be some Dobs available
for sky tours, including an Obsession 18" scope and a new SDM 14.5" scope
that John Bambury will be transporting up. John will be conducting tours
through the 14.5" and I will be showing people views through the 18".
We will be there from the Friday onwards, so be sure to seek us out on the
field and don't be shy to hang out with us and take-in the views. That's why
we are there! So even if you don't have a scope or don't plan on bringing one,
we'll make sure you can enjoy in the observing fun!

Best Regards

Gary Kopff

Best wishes for a successful event Mike. Just so disappointed that I cannot be there, Albert is itching to be under dark skies.
