More lunacy

Wandered into the backyard at 3.00am to take some piccies....then had a
Doh! moment could have slept another hour...of course penumbral phases are almost invisible!

Then had some cloud during the partial phases.

Thankfully this cleared. As Paul indicated in his post, totality was remarkably dark.

Seeing wasn't great and the neighbour's two storey roofline killed my western
sky for mid totality....

Took many frames...much HDR...anyway here is my take on totality...partial HDR stuff will take longer

Sorry couldn't find any virgins or goats (hummm...I am I allowed to say that with PC gone mad these days? ) )

Just sacrificed some sleep...attached is the last frame I managed to get before the neighbours roof totally obscured the view from my Observatory.
