The Pleiades

Imaged 14/12/18 in Cowra NSW
Comprises ten 240-second images stacked and aligned in Nebulosity 4 and post-processed in Photoshop
127mm refractor telescope
ASI071MCPro camera cooled to -20degreesC and fitted with an Astronomik L2 UV/IR cut filter
Skywatcher EQ8 mount, guided

Very fine, Tim, and a Christmas card theme too.

There are dark circles in the centres of the stars, which are presumably processing artefacts. You could look back through the steps and see at what point they appeared.

The blue reflection nebulosity is coming out nicely. We've never really managed a good Pleiades.

You're right - it was a processing artefact. Here is an earlier version.
