Melbourne scope cleaning service?

Hi all, apologies if this is posted in the wrong forum.

I'm looking at getting the internals of my C9.25 SCT cleaned (corrector plate, mirror, etc) and am a bit nervous about trying it myself. Does anyone know of someone in the Melbourne area who will do this? I spoke with Optics Central who will send it up to Sydney for cleaning and collimation, but I'd prefer something closer to home.

Thanks, Andrew

Scope is very rarely so dirty that needs cleaning.

If you have only dust, leave it, it will not significally affect the image qualty.

Cleaning may be needed in case of mould of if the optical surfaces are damaged by rain or similar mishap...

Thanks, I don’t know what it is, it almost looks like liquid splatter or something. I don’t know if it’s causing any image degradation, but it sure doesn’t look good,

Andrew,
I'm in St Kilda East, not far from you, and if all else fails, you can bring it over, but it doesn't look like a cheap exercise as it needs to be pulled apart and re assembled/collimated, apart from the cleaning itself.
