Lunt LS152T Ha DS

It's the largest dedicated double stacked Ha instrument in the country

It's had a glorious life as an outreach telescope and only ever used visually. It is big enough to terrify small children, and gives very bright immersive solar images. I'm sure it would be a great imaging scope, but that's for the new owner to discover (I'm a non-imager, but can certainly say that the few times that I've used this beast with a camera, the resolution has been stunning).

The whole package includes 18mm blocking filter diagonal, Lunt zoom eyepiece, mounting ring, Lunt 12" dovetail, dust caps, aluminium finished hard case with custom foam lining, and a no name 28mm 2" eyepiece (Possibly Skywatcher?) that happens to give a lovely low power view.

The single stacked version retails for 13.5k, the Double Stack unit another 7k (est) so this is a big time saving on this professional observatory grade instrument

Yours for AU$11,250 plus delivery <--- See latest post for reduced price!!

I have to admit to being a bit lazy on the sale of this scope. It's just such a lovely instrument and looks so beautiful in the 'upper' observatory!

It needs to find a new home so I am splitting it away from the mount and offering I as an OTA only sale.

Now includes: LUNT 152mm HA solar telescope with Double stack, 18mm blocking filter diagonal, Lunt zoom eyepiece, mounting ring, Lunt 12" dovetail, dust caps, aluminium finished hard case with custom foam lining, and a no name 28mm 2" eyepiece (Possibly Skywatcher?).

AUD 11,250

Got to go. Now for just over the cost of a single stacked 100, offered at the crazy low price of $9500 plus delivery.

Once in a lifetime chance Astro-peeps

What's the collective noun for Lunt Telescopes?

The big fella at the top really needs to find a new home and I'm a motivated seller. Just tossing it away for $8,000 plus delivery.

Don't let the price fool you - this is a professional observatory class instrument and the only one in Australia.

A featherweight 15kg!

And it is best to over-mount to facilitate tuning.
