Milky Way Widefield

Hey all,

I recently acquired a Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art and to test it out I took some snaps in between clouds during the weekend. Blown away by the quality of this lens, can't wait to take it out for some serious mosaic work.

Deets:
Nikon D610
Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art
2 landscape panels @ 5x180" ea
f/2.8 ISO800
Skywatcher Star Adventurer
Sequator>Pixinsight>Photoshop

Woohoo, that's magnificent. I have the Sigma Art 14 1.8 and its a great lens. Huge, heavy and expensive but great. I was planning to get the 35mm 1.4 Art once it was shipping in Sony mount.

Is your camera modified? Its showing some nice Ha response there.

Greg.

Thanks Greg, camera is stock. I've considered having it modded but it does pretty well as it is.
