This is an image of Pimis 4, an open cluster in the constellation of Vela, and the cluster is backed by part of the Vela supernova remnant.
The colour data was very dirty/noisy and not enough of it however; the weather has closed in, so it is what it is. There are some odd stars in the image which I think are due to my OAG encroaching too far into the field. It also looks like I processed it with a sledge hammer, I cannot seem to finesse the data into a nicer smoother image.
Yeah, yeah, you are all playing tiny violins for me! LOL!
Some information on Paris Pismis can be found on the link below.
I reckon it looks pretty darn good and I wouldn't be too critical.
However I am surprised by what looks like diffraction spikes on the stars. I don't think the OAG prism would cause this, that would just create a shadow on the edge of the frame.

Thanks Bill, we are our own worst enemy, for sure!
Yes, crazy diffraction spikes for sure. I rotated the camera and filter wheel/OAG combo back to how I had it originally(and had no issues) and all my subs tonight show no signs of diffraction. One can only assume, as I will not be rotating it back to see if they come back, it is indeed the OAG.
The only issue tonight is guide stars are wobbling all over the place.
