Measuring Cone error??

I found some IIS previous threads on Cone error.....
http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=45154
No need to further the discussion....

Has anyone successfully tried the ConeSharp software?

I'd be interested to hear your feedback. Did it improve your GOTO?

Just a thought , have you tried disconnecting EQMOD and plugging in your Synscan handcontroller to see if you get a similar alignment error on the same reference star from the same home / park position

Martin,
No, never tried that.
My home position is Custom - OTA horizontal and I'm not sure a suitable first target would be available for GOTO with the Synscan???
If pain persists I'll think more seriously about this option.
