Astronomy Memes / Comedy

Happy Christmas Eve all!

So I've been poking fun at astronomy / astronomers lately on my YouTube channel in between regular tutorial videos and probably ruffled some feathers along the way heh. Curiously some of these short comedy videos are getting more views than the others which is fun.

Here's the latest joke "Every Astronomy Purchase Ever" which I think most of us can relate to : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJqxbj8HiZI

But I thought I'd post here to ask for any Astronomy memes, jokes and general humour! Something to do while I sit at work today pretending to work/care.

Dylan.

There was a FB thread a while back where people were asked to badly explain their hobby.

I said 'I stand around in the dark taking pictures of things that don't exist anymore'. :-D

Not strictly speaking true, but close enough. :-)

Merry Christmas to all and a happy new year.

I like to hang out in the bush in the middle of the night with other strange men like myself.

Or you could say 'I stand around at night with $100's of equipment, trying as best I can *not to photograph the atmosphere'.

The bad weather always seems to wait until I have everything set up and aligned perfectly before turning to crap.
