Pure tungsten bars

Hey everyone,

I thought this would be as good a place as any to ask so I am looking for small bars of tungsten.

Approx 30mmx15mmx1mm.

Let me know if you have any or know where I can get some as I am having trouble finding it.

Cheers.

Not bar shaped, and probably not of great purity, but would tungsten weights do (the kind used for fishing)?

Cheers
Steffen.

Hi Steffen,

Thanks for the offer but it has to be 99.95% pure and in bar form.

Interesting, what are you trying to do?

You could start with something like this, I suppose, and cut it yourself (although it's apparently harder than quartz).

Good luck with your search!

Cheers
Steffen.

Oh wow! Thanks for the link! For some reason I couldn't find any 99,95% on ebay but thats perfect.

And yeah.. Cutting it is near impossible. Unless you had a diamond blade. It is ultra hard stuff.
