red spot on Jupiter.

Tonight at 20:20 (+8 Z) I observed a circular red spot on Jupiter approximately the size of the GRS but not in the right location.

Through our 8" LightBridge using an University 6mm Ortho it was at roughly 1 o'clock about 2/3 of the way to the top. Well above the dark band where I would expect the GRS to be. Was I hallucinating?

You will need to take into account that the Southern Equatorial band that the GRS normally sits in is not visible at present, so you will see it on its own. Did it look like this image of Trevor's posted today?
