Sirius Optics 38mm 70* SWA 2" EP

As part of the restructure of my EP collection I have decided to let this one go.

Price: $100 posted anywhere in Australia

It was purchased from Sirius Optics approx. 12 months ago for $159 to provide a particular service, namely to open up the FOV in my 8" SCT to it's maximum of 1.3 degrees.

I believe this EP is the same as the Orion Q70 but, I am not 100% certain.

Performance is very good in a slow focal ratio scope such as an 8" F10 SCT, pretty good in an 80mm F6 triplet refractor & ummm, to be honest, not so nice in a 12" F5 Newtonian reflector with a fair bit of coma from about 50 degrees out to the edge in a Newt.

The EP is in pristine condition with no marks on the glass or barrel...

So, if you are looking for a very reasonable wideview performer for your SCT or Refractor at a bargain price then this EP is for you.

Thankyou for looking

Price Reduction

Now $100 posted anywhere in Australia

Or, make me a sensible offer...

This is actually a very good eyepiece for use as a widefield EP in an SCT or Refractor, it's just not particularly well suited for Newtonians as there is coma off axis... although, I guess it depends on whether or not coma off axis bothers you or not...

Surplus to my requirements as I have acquired an ES 30mm 82 degree EP which pretty much gives me the same FOV but, works very well across all my scopes.
