Moon over the coast

Very pleasant moonlight on the NSW south coast leading up to Spring although 4 degrees overnight. Some of the old stands of old trees are largely intact but the marginal growth has copped it.

One of my favourite places, haven't been there for 2 years and am reticent about seeing it in a blackened state. I have to admit to shedding a tear when I saw images of the headland going up in flames, have so many good memories of surfing down there.
Like many of us, seeing the South Coast burning over summer was distressing, can't begin to imagine how the inhabitants survived, plenty of stories on the news services gave some idea though.
Thanks for sharing some great photos.

Thanks Jeff. I am surprised that the area seemed so leafy and pleasant when you think about a lot of the other areas. Just lucky I guess and a few plane loads of retardant. The fish are not around I hear but plenty of birds.
