Total eclipse from Mackay

Beautiful total eclipse tonight. Not a single cloud (rare in summer). Even saw a bright meteor flash underneath.

GSO 10" F4 Newtonian, full spectrum Canon 1100D, 3 seconds at ISO 100. A few stars can be seen around the Moon.

Wonderful Image Kevin. Do you mind if we feature the image in our gallery on www.lunareclipse2018.org? If you want your own description just reply with what you want. Can credit your full name if you provide.

Great image

Thanks

Cracking, Kevin

Couldn't even see the glow of the full Moon behind the clouds here (before totality!)

That's a pity Dunk. Looks like a lot of places were clouded out.
