I'm aware of the sticky in the Equipment forum for astro gear. However, for ATM'ers, not all these sources help. Plywood, aluminium, Teflon, fasteners, varnish, etc. are not necessaryly supplied by these sources.
Would a sticky in the ATM & DIY forum for these be a viable option?
When I rebuilt my 17.5" dob, I sourced my materials from some 8 different sources, none of which were astro suppliers (I had cannibalised the optics from an old OTA).
Even digital setting circles can be made from gear supplied from non-astro sources.
There are several threads in the archives that ask various questions on this, but a central repository of info would be advantageous.
