I assume you can get a US-AU plug adapter? Where from and how much?
You can get travel adaptors at lots places - I picked up one before I went to the Middle East - converts most plugs to AU....
It is marked as a "Korjo AA01" - hope that helps.....

Just bend the pins Mike sounds rough but it works, Or use the travel adapters that are readily avalable.

Bent the pins on mine very carefully with a pair of pliers, looking at it you could not tell...has the added benefit of not easily falling out of the wall socket as the adapters invariably do..... you think you will find the adapter rated at 110 to 240, so it dont matter..

This is what I use. Works off a 12v battery like a charm. Available from here

Geoff, thats great but on the price page its EOS203 for 99$ for a little more 129$ you can get the EOS205 12V and AC adapter version, though I suspect the AC part maybe US based. But if the AC is 110-240 then we can just use a international plug adapter. Still its expensive for what they are.

Regards
Fahim

The Canon EOS 350D (also known as the Canon Rebel XT) is a digital camera that is typically powered by a rechargeable battery pack. However, it is also possible to power the camera directly from an external power source such as a 12V DC power supply or a 240V AC power supply using an appropriate adapter or power supply unit.

To power the Canon EOS 350D from a 12V DC source, you would need a DC power adapter or a dummy battery adapter that is compatible with the camera. These adapters typically convert the 12V DC input to the appropriate voltage and connector type required by the camera.
