tak FS 60 flattener spacing with ccd

Hello all
I want to try my QHY8 on the FS 60CB with the flattener-currently it has a cooled DSLR on it which is fine- but I know the back focus difference would be at least 20-22mm.
Would this affect the spacing or can I just attach the flattener and try it out (QHY8 pro) ?
It would be easy I hope to slip a 20mm spacer inbetween the flattener and the QHY t thread ( I hope)
Anyone done this?

Yes.

I can pick a difference with a 0.5mm shim.
