Suffice to say there was never anything wrong with the camera.

SBIG have no control over third party software.

I've always found their in house software CCDops to be the gold standard in camera operation and testing, hence my first question to users who may be struggling is often " what software are you using? "

Well, they've replace the version that I said was FUBAR with a new version that proclaims to fix exactly the problem I reported. Edit, just downloaded the "new" version, it's still 7712!

No post from the Bisques as to the error.

Should have gotten an AP mount and Maxim...

Still nothing on the original problem, the streaks, looks like I'm imaging in Windows, yuk!
