Shim pack

Hi,

Does anymore recommend any reliable online source of good quality shimming product for tilt adjustment. My current method of packing foil paper is wasting a lot of time when changing imaging train.

Thanks
Raki

Get a 32 blade set of spark plug feeler gauges from Bunnngs, they are $14 and span a range from 30 micron to 1mm.
They are easy to cut to size with scissors.

I got a small roll of 0.5mm stainless steel sheet a while ago that I've used in conjunction with aluminium cans mostly or cork, old credit cards, depending of what I wanted to achieve.

Thanks Bill, I will go and have a looks. 30 micron ones will be ideal. I wonder if they would rust over time if left exposed overnight!!

Thank you Marc. .5mm will be a bit too thick for my need. I probably need something in range of .01 - .05mm

They will not if slightly lubricated with WD40.
