An hour of SHO on the chicken - first narrowband effort

Hi team,

Had perhaps two hours of clear sky tonight, and in my current ultra-keen state that was enough to set up and grab 68mins of SHO narrowband.
I understand that this is about 1/15th of what I'd need to do a good job, but new gear has me itching to mess around.

Anyway, here it is, 24mins of S, 22 each of O and H, 40s subs. Processed to with an inch of its life, maybe beyond.

I think that is a fantastic result. I think I have set the bar for over processing and you are now where near it. I have had my set up for about a year and have yet to bring it all together for many reasons but that has not stopped me from messing about as I am sure you can learn stuff during this period waiting for completion of set up or weather. My suggestion would be to manage your data so you can retrieve it for the addition of new data ...sounds simple but if there is one thing that I have learnt is the importance of an efficient management system given the various groups of data narrow band sees one accumulate.
It is a wonderful wonderful image and you can be very proud of your effort and result.
Alex

A great start to your narrow band processing and a fine first effort. You will certainly improve from here on but you've laid down a solid foundation to work from. Keep up the good work JP and as Alex has said, something to be proud of.

Pretty good for the chicken and for a first try that is great.

Excellent first try JP. Narrowband can be tricky to get right but you're not far off colour wise. Everything else though looks spot on.
