I've been diving in and out between clouds this past week, trying to get some imaging done. Starting to appreciate those long, dark nights of winter! It seems now it's barely worth setting up unless it's looking clear til morning.
Anyway, I did cobble enough data to produce another tarantula, again in OSH. I did a version with the WO z81 a month or so back, and did a similar effort with the Tak this week.
I'm messing around with higher gain to compensate for slower systems, and so used 200gain here (f7.7) instead of 139 on the WO (f5).
This is 19 X 180s for Ha and Oiii, 11 x 180s Sii last night before the clouds rolled in.
The WO image has a thread in the deep space
section.

I need to take a look at these on a proper screen together, but I think the core cluster is better rendered here.
Overall, if I was super keen to make things wonderful I suppose I'd buy a robo-focuser, but focusing is one of the few manual things left in my night, where I get to touch the scope!
Anyway, I live this colour palette, SHO takes a back seat on this one for me.
