DSS also can do it. Under "Stacking Parameters" choose the "Intermediate files" tab then tick the box "create a registered /calibrated file for each light frame". DSS will then create a TIFF or FIT file. Actually that won't center it but it will stop it moving.

I ran the original Sinking Mount video through PIPP. It tried it's very best to center NGC 362 in the middle of the frame. But as you can see there is still a fair bit of shaking.

So I then opened that video in Virtual Dub and applied the Deshaker filter and voila!!! How freaking cool is that?? I should really have done something about those hot pixels though. LOL

wow shows what a difference processing can make, and those tools really made a difference, but I have to say I do enjoy the original the best - gives me that starship enterprise feel
