MODDED: Astrophotography Session Control List for SLR/DSLR

I've changed this from my previous post as I was looking for one. I've now made one up as a PDF. See the following post below. If you can use it, fantastic!

Cheers
Chris

AstroSessionControlList.pdf

Done one for SLR/DSLR's.

I couldn't upload the original .xls file, so here's a 2-page PDF.

Essentially I wanted a piece of paper I could write on as I took images through the night, so that I could keep track, from frame to frame, of what camera, lens, etc I was using. As my older lenses don't let the camera generate meaningful EXIF data, I was getting lost and forgetting what lens and f-stop was being used to take any particular image. I wanted to be able to name my selection of equipment once only, and then refer to it as I go through the night by a given session reference number. Not being an expert at this, but I'll do one for webcam/CCD later too.

SEE POST #5 IN THIS THREAD FOR THE LATEST FILE

Cheers
Chris

A big thanks from me too Chris. I have been scribbling in a spiral note book and then I forget to write half the settings down and then try and work it out later.

All I have to do now is get my act together so I can post a few.

Thanks again and clear skies.

A pleasure fellas.

I've now modified it again. After using for the first time night before last I sorely needed a field that I completely forgot - ISO. Other than that it was fabbo.

So - here's the new version with a few changes. I've included both the PDF and the original MS-Excel XLS document in a ZIP file for convenience.

Cheers
Chris
