What a great start to the race.
After the melbourne race I thought Webber must have left his lucky rabbits foot down the back of Vettels seat, looks like Vettel found it and put it back were he thinks it belongs.
Was hoping for a bit of rain to mix things up but alas wasn't to be.

I notice Ricciardo took his 10sec penalty before pulling the pin. Would that be so its not carried over to the next race?

Also during qually they were taking about the trophies and who actually had hold of the 2nd/3rd ones at the moment pending the Red Bull appeal and one of the commentators mentioned that Mclaren had written in the drivers contract that the team would supply a replica of the trophy at the drivers expense. Thats a bit rude asking the drivers to pay dont you think?

Cheers

Interesting race. I feel for Dan Ricciardo - no luck at all - Mr Murphy was obviously riding shotgun.

I noticed the Williams (especially) and Mercedes were more fuel efficient than the rest.

As for trophies, given what F1 drivers are paid (), I have no problem with them paying for replica trophies.

Poor Dan has copped a 10 grid place penalty for unsafe release just to add to his woes.
