Hi IIS'ers,
I'm currently working on the chook and have gotten 4 hours so far (evenly split between Ha & OIII). I plan to get another 2 hours tonight solely on Ha since I'm going for the mapping LRGB = Ha:Ha
Synth):OIII. Details below:
Mount: NEQ6
Imaging Train: Orion 80ED - CCDT67 Reducer - OAG - FW - QHY9M (Operating at 400mm)
Guiding: Lodestar used with a TSOAG9, 3sec guiding
Ha & OIII - 900sec * 8 Subs
Image processing: Captured in Maxim 5, Stacked in DSS, Edited in Startools, Slight touch up in Photoshop CS6
This is my first serious imaging attempt since I got into the hobby and really keen on making it special
I would like to know your opinion and any areas of improvement where I could do better. I think the colour is a little off for my liking but I will blend it properly in the final image.
Thanks for looking and comments welcome!
