Its been at that sort of figure for a few days, although yesterday it dropped to just a bit over 2k.

Interesting. Peak individual users 6370 today.
Registered users who have made zero posts: 8970 - over many years however. I'd be interested to learn the source(s) of these bots/spiders, etc.

I think the real numbers may be gleaned from photo views.
My observatory thread nearing 10000 views shows much smaller numbers of views on the photos. Presumably a "real" viewer looks at the photo..particularly with say a DIY project.
