Baader 90* Amici Prism Diagonal

Selling my Baader 90* Amici Prism diagonal. This is a high quality prism diagonal, used when a right way up image is wanted.(Day time observation)

Baader 90 Amici Prism - 2x T2 connections.

This prism is manufactured according to the ZEISS factory norm. It offers:

-- perfect plane surfaces
-- best multi coating possible
-- 31mm of free aperture

Baader mounted this prism into a very good metal housing with T2 threads on both sides. So you have, with a short optical length, many connection options.

The Amici prism offers upright and side-correct images when used with refractors or cassegrain systems. Normally, we do not recommend Amici prisms for astronomical observation but rather diagnoal mirrors or -prisms. With this product, we make an exception.

With this Amici prism, we see no difference compared with a very good diagonal mirror or -prism. But its advantage is a right-oriented image.

This diagonal comes with a female T2 thread on the telescope end, and a T2 1.25" barrel and 1.25" eyepiece holder at the eyepiece end. (can be changed to 2" if required)
