Fly eyes

Experimenting with macro using a Nikkor 60mm Micro, Canon Nikkor adapter, Canon Fuji X mount adapter, to X Pro 1.

EDIT: Needs flash. These were taken in filtered sunlight - White A4. The extension combination provides more room between the lens and subject than the Nikkor to Fuji adapter allows, and is closer to 1:1 than the Fuji 60mm macro lens. A flash would allow a smaller aperture to increase DOF.

There's a whole new world to play in right there Rowland. Very good start.
Q: Does the adapture allow full electronic Aperture, or are you working through a stopped-down lens?

Trevor. I have manual control over aperture. And with the camera in auto, shutter speed responds as it should. Focus confirmation is also available. These were the best I could do focus bracketing along with minimal equipment.

very nice, you probably need f16+ or focus stacking if the critter will sit still long enough

The critters don't sit around long enough to do anything useful.
