NGC2359, Thor's Helmet

I recently spent 3 nights at Wiruna under dark skies. Amongst other things I shot Thor's Helmet.

12 by 300 sec, Darks, Flats, Bias
ASI 2600 MC, No filters
Esprit 120 @F7

Full frame plus a crop

Bortle 2 sky

How many scopes did you have running that night Paul?? All these images coming from Wiruna lol

Looking good for such a hard target and small amount, add another 100 subs and it should pop.

Lol, I only had one scope but 3 nights at Wiruna with 2 dusk to dawn efforts allows for a lot of targets. I certainly will try and add some more when I get the chance.
