I don't have any experience with the ieq45 so can't comment on it however there's a lot to be said for the EQ6 in combination with EQMOD. The pointing model and other features are excellent and the mount is well proven and easy to use and maintain.
Having had a quick look at the ieq45 specs it does have some very nice features - I'll be interested to hear views from people that have used this mount.
