Campsite west of Noosa?

Hi folks, can anyone recommend a camp site with dark skies around the Sunshine Coast, Gympie, Noosa area? Or inland thereof?
Cheers, Iain

Hi Iain, what type of camping
With facilities,Tenting,Caravan/camper,free camping?,etc
How far from Noosa.?
Cheers

Put this into google"Camping Kenilworth area"
The first three are the best for you.
Kenilworth Homstead
Kenilworth Camping
Bluff creek campground.
You're away from the lights of the coast so that should suit you fine.
In the day time you can do lots of stuff or just tour the Sunshine coast.

It would be a bit of a job to pitch the tent and put in the pegs.

Meh - a barge. You might get wonky star trailing though....PHD probably couldn't guide them out

Darkest I remember in the region was between Kilkivan and Tansey. Rather dark, especially after the meet-your-own-butt twisting road up the range. About an hour out of Gympie.

Our family property out at Moonford (about 25km out of Monto) is DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ARK. I mean DARK DARK. And so silent you can hear people talking a km away. But that's a long drive.
