Couple from a Gold Coast Storm Cell

Very satisfying day, welding in 30+ deg, checking the ever long Anvill creeping in over the shoulder from time to time, job done, distant cloud darkening, pack-up, Storm spotted, cooling winds, camera ready...

Totally enjoyed seeing some action close to home, , been few & far between around these parts !
Amazing line hey, right out to Mt Isa

Cheers Derek - the high level steering winds were strong, producing very large anvils which tended to smother the potential & due to the vast areas of 'capping', storms were struggling to stay defined in most parts

Thx Rev, not too shabby, considering these were hand-held, 'is' enabled @ 1/8th sec, the lightning is actually 'doubled up, on close inspection in the full file, Lol, but the cell was in a nice position for a shot or two
