Last night my wife's Synscan,04.37.03 locked up whilst the utility function ->idetify option was running.
The hand pad became totally unresponsive. So power off , declutch an put the scope to eyeball park position. (the HEQ 5 pro mount is on a fixed pier) and tonight I will have to start with "not at park position".
Is this malfunction of the hand pad common? May be the star in question is not in the syntra data base and this leads to the problem . But the usual response is along the lines of "nothing found".
Just a genera whinge, why oh why when Synta has lat 34 south set does it give all the totally irrelevant information about Polaris?
