oh this is comical - jupiter 12 march 2018

in the wee hours of the morning i had a play - very bad play as focus was an issue and my first real hack at it. learning process

taken at 1:25am with 127ed and a Gstar EX3

You've got the exposure right to get both Jupiter and the moons looking good

thank you gentlemen. i was trying to emulate my planetary imaging guru (Dennis) who comes out with the most fantastic results - effortlessly . its not until you try that you realise that the herculean effort that goes into what looks like a simple image! sorta like when you guys post up fantastic deep space images
