Why so hard to get a mirror recoated

I contacted a known mirror recoating business a month ago about getting my mirror recoated .
They promptly sent this message :

Hi ***** *******

Thank you for submitting an enquiry through the ******* Optical website. This is just a courtesy email to let you know we have received your submission and one of our staff will get back to you as soon as possible.

I'm still waiting

Is there anyone who still recoats these days ?

Try ringing their number, let them know about the lack of email response, if they become obtuse let them know you have posted their lack of response on the forums etc.

That's Saintech isn't it? Wayne did a fantastic same day job on my mirror a few years ago while I waited in his workshop and watched the whole process. Maybe try calling him?

Hmm, Saintech's website shows the same address as Palmway and the mobile number is the same as on the invoice I received from Saintech.

Hi.
I just gave Wayne Sainty a ring from Palmway Optical in Forster on his mobile no.

He will be retiring soon, so November this year may be the last month he is still recoating mirrors. He has been busy coating for an order of 100 mirrors for a company down south. He also has been away from his computer for a while. Somebody is thinking about buying his business at the moment.
His Mobile no. is 0412010497.
His work address is :- unit 3 /no.4 Dee Cres,Tuncurry NSW 2428.
His postal address is PO BOX 135 Tuncurry.NSW 2428.
Has been at this address for about two years now.
